At this practice, transparency is a core value. Clients should know what to expect financially before booking, so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Therapy Fees

Standard 50-minute appointment

$285

Sessions are conducted via telehealth (Zoom or telephone). Payment is processed at the end of each session. The Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) recommended fee for a standard consultation is $318 (excluding GST).

Assessment Fees

Assessment fees are structured to include all required sessions, materials and reporting.

Cognitive (IQ) Assessment — $1,600

Includes intake, administration of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V) or Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV), all assessment materials, scoring, written report, and feedback session (4-5 sessions).

Cognitive & Learning Assessment (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia) — $2,550

Includes intake, administration of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V) or Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV), the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test – Third Edition (WIAT-III) for academic skill assessment, all assessment materials, scoring, written report, and feedback session.

ADHD / Autism Assessment — $1,999

Includes clinical interviews, standardised assessments, scoring, comprehensive written report and feedback.

Funding & Rebates

Several funding pathways may be available, depending on your circumstances.

Medicare

With a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist, clients may claim a rebate of $145.25 per session, for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. A referral is not required to book, but is required to access the rebate.

Private Health Insurance

Rebates vary by insurer and level of cover. Clients are encouraged to check directly with their fund regarding psychology benefits.

NDIS
  • Self-managed: payment at the time of session, invoice issued for claiming.
  • Plan-managed: a service agreement and current NDIS plan are required.
  • Please note: Dr Senyard is not NDIA-registered and is unable to see NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants.
WorkCover and DVA
  • This is state dependent, please enquire.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Payment is processed at the conclusion of each session via secure card payment.
  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a fee (full or partial — confirmed at booking).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral to book, but a referral is required to access Medicare rebates.

Are sessions in person or telehealth?

All sessions are delivered via telehealth (Zoom or phone).

How do I claim my rebate?

Medicare rebates are processed automatically after payment if your details are registered. Private health and NDIS rebates are claimed directly with your fund or plan manager.
